As a Security Officer Full Time Airport Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas, with conditions varying throughout the location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards, and report observations through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Support compliance with location rules, access-control procedures, and applicable government facility requirements while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
